According to Varone and Stefani, on the east (right) of the doorway CIL IV 8899 was found.

According to Epigraphik-Datenbank Clauss/Slaby (See www.manfredclauss.de), this read as –

Hospes  adhuc  tumuli  ni  meias  prec[antur]

Nam  si  vis  (h)uic  gratior  esse  caca

Urticae  monumenta  vides  discede  cacator

non  est  hic  tutum  culu(m)  aperire  tibi          [CIL IV 8899]

According to Berry, CIL IV 8903 was found on an exterior wall of III.5. This translates as –

“Gaius Sabinus Statio greets you. Traveller, you eat bread at Pompeii, but you drink at Nuceria”   [CIL IV 8903]

Ga(ius)  Sabinius  Statio  plurima(m)  sal(utem)

Nuceriae  bibes         [CIL IV 8903]

Pompeiana.org translates this as –

“Gaius Sabinus says a fond hello to Statius. Traveller, you eat bread in Pompeii but you go to Nuceria to drink. At Nuceria the drinking is better”
